I gotan advanced reader copy of The Dream Daughter through NetGalley. I have to be honest - I didn't really care for it at first. The description of this book seemed a lot different than what I was reading. And then, out of nowhere...Diane's magic happened. And I literally had to sit back and close my eyes for a minute and be like, "Ohhh."

This story may seem a little weird and uninteresting at first. But trust me; STICK WITH IT. I was always told while trying to write my own stories that the end of Act 1 of each story should end when the character takes the first steps into "the point of no return," and that's exactly what happens here. Diane Chamberlain is a master storyteller and this book is basically flawless. I teared up at the ending, and I NEVER cry at books. Trust me, and read this book ASAP!
