Time travel, life altering choices and a roller coaster of emotions. This is a book you don’t want to miss.

The year is 1970 and Carly a young widow has just found out that her unborn child has an incurable heart condition. She soon finds out that there may in fact be a way to save her baby but is she willing to have faith in the unbelievable? How far is she willing to go to save her child?

Carly, girl you made me SO ANXIOUS!! I was on the edge of my seat for 90% of this story and I wasn’t sure my heart could take much more. I finished this one with a big #bookhangover and find myself still thinking about it weeks later. I admire Carly’s strength and find myself wondering if I would have the same courage she had. I’m really not sure. Gosh that girl had guts!

I first discovered Diane Chamberlain two years ago and spent a few weeks devouring Necessary Lies, The Silent Sister and The Secret Life of CeeCee Wilkes (all of which I enjoyed). Chamberlain is no newbie to the publishing world. Having read and enjoyed a few of her 26 novels, I knew I would like this book. Nonetheless, I had no idea how much I would LOVE it. I’m going to have to put this one in top ten contention for 2018. Do yourself a favor and fit this one in sooner rather than later.
