My mother loves Diane Chamberlain and so I picked this up to give her a try. This book has so much going on and I really did not think it would work. But it does. I had no idea what way the author was going to take the story and I didn't know what way I wanted the story to go. Parts of it were very moving, making you wonder how far you would go for the people you love and I really enjoyed that aspect of it. Even with a subject such as time travel, it was still easy to relate to the characters and to feel for them as they faced all their situations. It kept me guessing as to what would happen and I have to say I can see now why my Mom reads all of Diane Chamberlain's books. At least I have Mom's books I can go borrow now, because I want to read more from this author! So glad I read this!
