There is no doubt that Diane Chamberlain has an amazing talent and skill set when it comes to writing books. I have not read all of them, but I do own quite a few. There is something that just pulls me in to her books, she writes with such a fluid style that nothing seems laggy, or over the top unrealistic. She doesn't use a bunch of jargon, or filler. Not once have I wanted one of her books to just be over. This one was no exception.
I loved her character development, the plot, and how descriptive the writing was. I felt like I was in a roller coaster ride of emotions. I have noticed this fall there is a trend with the word Daughter in the title, so I feel like books are really going to have to do something to stand out. I think this book will.
