This is the first time-travel book I have ever read and I am surprised at how realistic it felt! Diane Chamberlain's, Dream Daughter, took my breath away.
When Caroline Sears learns that her unborn baby has a heart defect, she is presented with an opportunity to time-travel into a new decade, in an effort to save her unborn child. Chamberlain's novel had its fair share of twists and turns that left me feeling anxious, worried, and emotional.
I couldn't have predicted the ending. And believe me, I tried to predict it, over and over again! But as everything wrapped up, I continued to love it more and more. It was a smooth, beautiful, cathartic read. As a mom, it really tugged at my heartstrings!
