Diane Chamberlain is my very favorite author and I have not read a book of hers that didn’t touch my heart. The Dream Daughter was no different. I finished this book and immediately called my mom to tell her how much I loved her. This story was so different from not only other Chamberlain books but really anything I’ve read. It used history and time travel in the most beautiful way that isn’t distracting or feeling unrealistic. The bonds between the characters is so strong that it left me in true tears during portions of the story.
Like all Diane Chamberlain books- The Dream Daughter is a must read. It leaves you feeling inspired and with a better understanding of just how strong a mother to child relationship can be.
