I had no idea going into this one that there was a sci-fi element to the story, but it was a happy surprise. Although time travel played a large part, there were also many realistic moments in regards to historical events, medical crisis, and family drama. I found the story captivating and I was moved to tears a number of times. Great women's fiction with a side of sci-fi.
I also listened to the audio book interchangeably with the ebook. The audio presentation was very well done by a single female narrator voicing the numerous characters throughout the book, both male and female. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to listen to her again in other productions. A definite five stars for the audio book.
