The emotional slide I just came off of while reading The Dinner List was brutal. This was a very quick read, taking me less than 24 hours to finish. However, the emotional punch I felt had me crying uglier than Kim Kardashian. If you have not read this one yet, give yourself a day or two to pick this one up. I sobbed uncontrollably the last 15 pages. It was nothing I expected it to be, but at the same time, everything I didn’t know I needed. I was so pulled into this story. I felt like I was surface level but at the same time drowning in the lives of Sabrina, Tobias, and Jessica. I wasn’t a huge fan of Jessica, but the story of Tobias and Sabrina was relatable and one that I found myself fully immersed and rooting for but also pushing against.
