When Sabrina arrives at her thirtieth birthday dinner she finds at the table not just her best friend, but also three significant people from her past, and well, Audrey Hepburn. As the appetizers are served, wine poured, and dinner table conversation begins, it becomes clear that there’s a reason these six people have been gathered together.

I originally picked this one up because I’m a big classic movie fan and I wanted to see how the author handled portraying Audrey Hepburn at a modern dinner party. At first, I wasn’t loving it and honestly, I considered not finishing it. It was short enough that I powered through and I ultimately ended up enjoying it. I was surprised by how emotional I got by the end. I kept getting Before the Coffee Gets Cold vibes, so if you enjoyed that one, you should check The Dinner List out.

My rating of this is 3.5 stars rounded up to 4.
