The premise of the book is basically if you were to have a dinner party and could invite absolutely anyone, who would it be? They can either still be alive or already passed on.
Getting to see who the main character invites and the reasons why is really cool and it really makes you think about who you would invite.
Also, the ending kind of throws you for a loop and is completely unexpected.
I definitely enjoyed the book and loved the historical figures that she decided would be on her list. I would be super interested to read more of her books and see what other ideas she comes up with!
I would recommend giving this book a chance no matter what favorite genres you prefer. It's a cute little read that I'm very glad I gave a chance!
