It took awhile to get into the rhythm of the book. The switching of past to present then to get each character's personality into focus slow down the tempo of the story at the beginning. But pretty soon, I got to find out what Sabrina was all about and why she had those 5 people at her birthday dinner. The Dinner List was exceptional in the way the main character was able to tackle and process each and every significant relationship. From her best friend to her professor, to her father and of course Tobias, the love of her life. Of course having Audrey Hepburn was part of her list was what drew me into the story in the first place. Overall, The Dinner List would make you think, emphatize and ultimately understand Sabrina and the five people on her list.
