Such fun...and I needed it. The Dinner List by Rebecca Serle is a fast paced mixture of romance and magical realism. Not cheesy...total food for thought. A fairly common question...we've all dabbled with the idea..if we could meet...if we could sit...if we could go out to dinner with a handful of people dead or alive who would it be and why? The why? That's where it gets thoughtful and soul searching and just fun.

Jessica wants to celebrate Sabrina her best friend's birthday in the best way. A dinner party with special guests. Who and why....and we go on that journey to discover why and we come to understand Sabrina more because of it. One evening...4 hours...and much to talk about. I enjoyed the fact that we didn't just come across a group of people sitting at a dinner table and that's it. We get the complex reasons why..the interesting reasons why...the enjoyable reasons why.

Highly recommend.
