To be honest, I do not really know what I was thinking when I decided I wanted to read this. Everyone asks the same question; who would they invite to a dinner party? I guess we can figure out how it might go, through this contemporary fiction for lonely women. I felt that 1. I was not the right demographic for this. 2. Why Audrey Hepburn? I still do not understand the hype around her. 3. I just didn’t understand the story. I felt like it was trying to be artistic and thought provoking while easily accessible to different types of people. Similarly to “Midnight In Paris”, but a lot less interesting and exciting. I really do not see much of the appeal about this book. Yes, there was a plot and conflict, but I didn’t really enjoy them.
