i thought the premise of this book was a clever one and one that would have been more fun than it turned out to be. im not sure what it was that i disliked so much about it, i mean, it was a decent read and am glad that i did read it but it was a little dry for my tastes and it didnt really captivate me as much as i thought it would. the idea of having a dinner with figures from the past is certainly a clever and interesting idea. it begs the question to me though, who would i want to have dinner with in terms of historical figures from the past and for me, its a tough choice and i honestly cant say for sure the three people i would want to dine with as i don;t want to sound cliche. as far as reccomending this book, i think there are plenty of people who would enjoy this especially fans of Audrey Hepburn, who is one of the guests in this book. it just wasnt one of my fave reads personally
