REVIEW
Rebecca Serle's The Dinner List builds off of the question: "Who would you invite to dinner - living or dead?" Sabrina gets to have that exact experience at her 30th birthday party. With a side of magical realism, readers are participants in a fantastical dinner in which secrets will be revealed and bonds will be tested. It's an eclectic mix at the table when Sabrina, her best friend, a college professor, her estranged father, and a former flame all show up to dine together, along with Audrey Hepburn. It's a quick read with a strong fan following. I found it just a hair predictable, which kept it from getting more starts from me, but I can understand why so many readers love it.
