I won't lie, I want into The Deep with skepticism and doubt. I really have no cared for sirens or mermaids ever, and when I read the synopsis for The Deep, I really was not sure how to feel about it! But, I decided to give it a shot.
And well, that was freaking weird. Like, I'm not entirely sure how to describe all of my feelings for this book? What on Earth did I just read?
Also, I won't lie (again) I totally picked this up because apparently this is inspired by Daveed Diggs' rap "The Deep", and if you're anything like me, you're obsessed with following any of the OBC Hamilton fam's projects!
