This book was so well done and really brought a lot to its very short page count. I love the origin story of this novella and think that its derivative nature strengthens it and really draws readers in and encourages them to engage with the content even more. I love the audio production on this book and I would definitely recommend listening to it and reading along at the same time for the best possible experience and immersion. The balance of the genre and the literary in this one was so good and worked to bring the themes and messaging to the forefront as well as build and enhance the tone. I would definitely read more from Rivers Solomon in the future and am so glad I picked this one up. Without one of the best releases of current years and something that you wouldn't want to miss out on for its great messaging, uniqueness, and strength of emotion.
