The cover of this book is really cool and that is what first drew me to this book. The first part was confusing a little to me as there were so many new words thrown out as Yetu and the other wajinru ready themselves for the Remembrance. I got used to the flow pretty quickly though, which was good because this is definitely not a long book.
I kind of liked the history parts better, where you learn how the wajinru came to be and even how they got the name wajinru to call themselves. I also liked the whale's part in the story. Whales are pretty cool and I would have liked to know more about Leviathan and also about the water wars.
It is not a bad novella, considering that it is based off a song. It kinda makes me want to go and listen to that song now.
