For a small book it will take you on a ride. The under world scene will take you for a loop for sure. The twist and turns will dive you deeper in a short time. The world building is quit good. The characteristics of the characters feel real enough that they are superficial real. It goes into depths in the legacy through the (family) through out the century. How one can see a mermaids tale as a legacy through the century is very hard to believe until you get further into the storyline. We can see it being picked apart one by one in the underworld politics of oppression and obligations. Or do we set off on path of our own instead of following the set legacy before us. They choose one right for them even though it will upset others. What’s right and what’s wrong, we will have to see.

Cover wants you to drive deep in a mysterious underwater world that is never seen from the world above.
