The cover immediately caught me because I love anything mermaid/siren related. Having never read any of Rivers work before, I was floored. Her writing style pulls the reader in and creates such visuals. I didn't want the world in the novel to end! I am definitely looking forward to finishing it along with checking out the song it is based on.
