I’m so proud of all the diversity in the book community so far it’s been a joy finding more and more authors, and stories with more of it.
This doesn’t seem a retelling but more a new story with fantastic usage of culture and mermaids meshed into a clutch of fantasy realism. Really enjoyed the short bit and left me haunted for more.
