YA historical fiction that I can't wait to read!

The sunny yellow cover of THE DAVENPORTS makes me want to pick up the book to find out more about it. Reading the synopsis and First Impression has me hooked and I can't wait to read the entire book. I love historical fiction and am excited that this book looks at the 1910 time period from the perspective of four young Black women. Having the chapters alternate focus between each of the four women is a fantastic way to follow their stories. The writing has a nice flow and the characters seem like they will be easy to love. I think this book is appropriate for a YA audience but will also appeal to some adult readers.
I'm really looking forward to reading THE DAVENPORTS.
