So far I'm ready to get this book! The premise is very interesting: the combination of humans and the Luxen, but the our protagonist's obsession is not what he seems. I haven't read any of the Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout. So I'm not sure if this book will ruin the other books in her series or if this can be started and I can read the others later, but I'm going to research and find out because I really want to read the rest of this book!
I like the pacing of this book and Armentrout's descriptive, writing style. I was only able to read the first 8 chapters, but I can already tell this is going to be different. I feel like a lot of YA books center around vampires or ghosts (which is fine), but this seems to be more alien and that is refreshing!
