I'd like to start off by saying that i'm not a huge fan of sci-fi BUT HOLY COW! This book was beyond what I could even imagine! I was completely sucked in into the world of the Lux and the plot twists were enough to keep me constantly intrigued. This was the first book I read by Jennifer L. Armentrout and I honestly loved her writing style. The characters were fantastic, the plot was steady paced, the writing wasn't too simple nor wordy, and the romance had me grinning like crazy.!
One thing to point out is that some of the characters introduced in the story have their own history with the eachother, and actually have their own series (Lux series) in which the main characters were actually first introduced! It isn't completely necessary to read the Lux series to understand this book, but I HIGHLY recommend reading them before picking up this book if you want to learn more about the history of the characters!
