The Darkest Star was a great start to a continuation of the Lux series that Jennifer L. Armentrout wrote a few years back. If you liked that series, you're going to love this one too! I really enjoyed the characters and Luc may just be one of my new bookish boyfriends. Armentrout never fails to include funny, humorous characters in her books and this novel was no exception! The plot was fast-moving which made for a really quick and enjoyable read. There's a ton of action and there were no boring parts. It was really cool to see how the world has changed since the Lux series. I would definitely recommend this book but I think it would be most enjoyable to those who have already read the Lux series as there are a lot of connections to those books.
