My first experience with Armentrout was with her series Lux. I remember reading it and constantly checking for more novels by her. When I saw this one I was so giddy! I finished the novel within a few hours and was obsessed! I am so thankful that she stuck with the alien feel giving the spin-off with luc. While reading Lux is not crucial to the plot, it would help the readers understand the character a bit more. I am in love with the novel and Evie! I cannot wait to read more and see her character development and her development with Luc! This is a must read for anyone who is in a book slump! She had advanced as a writer and anyone who reads wouldn’t regret it!! I cannot wait for the next novel to come out .
