Honestly adored this book!! I’ve always been a huge fan of Jennifer’s and this book did not disappoint! I loved being able to see the old gang, and get a new look on Luc from the original series. Along with that, Evie was a WONDERFUL protagonist. She’s funny, kind, not afraid to kick-butt! Everything you love to see in a series.
The romance was *chef’s kiss*. You get longing, love, yearning, glares, secrets that make or break people. There’s so much wonderfulness wrapped into a perfect little bow of fantasy and suspend.
If you fell in love with the Lux series, then you should definitely read this series and fall in love with it all over again- but in a different point of view.
I loved being able to purchase this books and just instantly fall in love with it a few pages in, and I can’t wait to read more about Evie and Luc and their adventures!!!!
