I loved the original series at the time that I read them. So, when this book/series was announced I had my concerns. I liked the sassy young yet freakishly powerful alien known only as Luc. I was always curious about Luc so having a series about him should be a good thing but I feel this is just a duplicate of the first.
Evie doesn't stand out to me in any way. Her best friend, Heidi that she goes to the club with has more staying power in my mind. I have a feeling I know why this is.
I find myself flipping through wanting to keep reading because I need to know what happens next. Reading only one chapter isn't possible it's like eating one potato chip. I am interest in seeing how this plays through.
