I am absolutely in love with this book! It has likeable and relatable characters, perfect world building, and a magical way of story telling.
I instantly loved Luc and Evie's "relationship". Luc is a cocky, confident, extremely good looking Luxen that Evie meets while going to an all Luxen club her friend dragged her to. She gives it right back to Luc and doesn't even care that he's a powerful alien. No one pushes Evie around! But, her world is forever changed after they meet and all the drama, action and craziness begins!
Evie is an incredible leading lady! I instantly felt connected to her and her character. She is very relatable. She is strong, stronger than she, at first, realizes.
I was instantly hooked with this book by the very first chapter. The first couple of sentences, even! This book has everything a good book would need. Action, romance, sadness, bad guys, good guys, an incrediblely powerful alien species! What more could you ask for?! I devoured this book and I did not want it to end! I would reccomend this to all fantasy/scifi lovers!
