I was introduced to Armentrout's books through the Blood and Ash series (still have a book hangover from them by the way!) and I couldn't really stop thinking about the characters and the plot, I just so badly wanted to re-read the book over and over again. But no! I have other books I had been putting off...which I will continue to put off until I finish every book Armentrout has written! This is one of those books. Right off the top I'm iffy about Luc, unsure how I should feel about him--but that could also be because I just finished reading a mystery book and think everyone is suspicious. I don't know sue me for being protective Evie. I have to admit I've never read a book with aliens in it so this will be different, kind of scared I won't like it or it won't meet my expectations. Either way it will pretty much help me determine whether I should give sci-fi more of a go.
