It's been many years since I read the Lux series. Years since I fell in love with Daemon and Katy's story. At the time, I remember that I loved Luc. I actually loved him and I was heartbroken by his story.

Heres's the thing, I am incapable of not reading a Jennifer L. Armentrout book. Her humor and her absolutely wild characters with their amazing stories draw me in every time. I always relate to the characters and this book is no exception.
In this book, we meet Evie, who is without a doubt a normal teenage girl. She's strong, funny, well-developed, and way in over her head. When she goes to a club way too full of aliens for her liking she meets Luc, a character readers will remember from the Lux Series and who will know that Luc just happens to own the club Evie has just walked into and it spells trouble for the both of them.
What follows is drama, danger, and a whole lots of fun times for the characters and the reader. I loved every second of this book. Luc is irresistible and I don't even try anymore. He's everything I hoped he would grow up to be. He matches Evie perfectly, who is an incredible protagonist. She meets Luc head-on and never backs down. I love their dynamic and I am so excited for the next book. Armentrout has me hooked for life! This is an absolutely must-read for those who loved the Lux Series, who love aliens, or just love sexy guys!
