I really wanted to like this book, the description sounded fantastic. But perhaps I'm getting too old for YA. I know this is dystopian and I haven't been their age in a long time, but the writing was a bit too silly for me. It didn't seem like a natural conversation between Evie and her best friend and I overall just found the sample cheesy. But I'm sure it's just me!
