I loved The Darkest Minds series so much, when I heard we were going to get more books, and this time we get too meet Suzume! "zu" Kimura! again I was beyonf excited, I couldn't wait!
This book did not disappoint at all. Sometimes when a spinoff comes out, there always a hesitant moment about how it'll go, will I love it as much I did the others? will it disappoint me? but this book was all worth it. I may have not loved as much as I had the Darkest Minds, but it was still an amazing read, and was left with many feelings. The plot was really good, however the pacing of the book was a bit off feeling long at times. But besides that the book had me smiling yo being back in this universe, and I loved getting to meet zu once more, as I loved her very much and missed her, and wee got to know her so much more!!
