What worked: This is a must read dystopian series. There are so many parallels to what is happening in our current country with the internment camps. While in this series the government rounds up children and teens who 'survive' a deadly virus only to develop super powers.

In this book, readers see this world through the eyes of Zu. She's now seventeen and her way to make a difference is to work with new US president Cruz. I really like Zu. Readers see her conflict and struggle especially in the scene where she finds Liam and his new home with Ruby and other Psi children. She wants to still be a part of this 'family', but knows her journey will lead her on another path. She's strong, feisty, and smart. Other characters from the series show up like Chubs, Vi, and even Chancy. Plus, readers find out that Ruby has been 'missing'. The final reveal is stunning and I hope we'll find out more.

Enthralling, action-packed dystopian novel that continues the quest of Psi children in a world that has gone tipsy turvy and the girl who is willing to risk everything in order to not only to clear her name, but to right the wrongs against her and others.

A must read for any reader who loves a good dystopian series. This series won't disappoint. I do recommend reading the first book in the series in order to get the backstory of this world.
