This book was a bit of a disappointment. I thought it was better than the previous Darkest Minds books, but still not great.
We get to experience this book through the eyes of Zu which was a fun twist. Obviously I knew there would be some kind of problem that needed to be solved, but I felt like everything the third book worked so hard to solve was suddenly unraveled here. And the worst part was that it really never got resolved even at the end.
I expected more from this book, especially since it was supposed to be a fun look into the future. Some things I did enjoy included getting to know Zu a little better and getting a glimpse into her future and the power she really holds. Other than that, I just wasn't all that impressed.
