I loved everything about the darkest mind trilogy. It was fast paced and kept me on my toes and had me feeling raw and emotional more times that I can count. So I was extremely excited to see a continuation of this series.
Zu is an incredible character. She was an instant favorite for me in the darkest mind. First off she is beyond awesome with her ability to control electricity. But most importantly she was just a child who wanted to be able to do all the things that any young girl should be able to do like paint your nails and be obsessed with pink and dresses.
To be able to see Zu years later and see what kind of a strong woman she has grown into is such an amazing thing to be able to read and experience. I can’t wait to read the rest and see how she has really grown as a person.
