I did not hear of the Darkest Minds series until I read the First Impression of this book. And let me tell you, I love it! While I am obviously a little behind because I am just joining the series now, it does not take much to catch on.
The story starts with a dramatic encounter and the action keeps amping up from there. I am engrossed in this dystopian of powerful kids, a corrupt government, a fearful public, and protectors of both.
I can't wait to continue on this journey with Zu!
