This one really seems like it will keep you intrigued from the beginning to the end. Hopefully it will be somewhat easier to follow once the story gets going.

I'm usually not one who likes these kinds of stories, but I have to say this one sounds like a really good one to read. Hopefully it is not too bloody and descriptive that you cannot get through it. Probably one for those who really like the blood and guts kind of story. All the characters sound fascinating and I think learning about them through the story would probably be the best part of this book. I like that it is set on the West Coast. That seems to be where everything happens even back in the seventies. I have never read a Chip Jacobs book before but this one sounds like it would be a good one to become familiar with the author.
