This book took me awhile to get into it as the author uses a lot of words to describe what the story is about and as a reader I got lost in the writing versus the story. It starts out with an interesting chapter about a teenager driving and meeting up with a person that the teenager cut off and in a fit of anger the other driver pursued. The story of the future business that was created was interesting if the story was less descriptive and more to the point. I found my mind trying to get to the depth of the story but my mind would wander and I wondered what did I just read of the last chapter but not willing to go back to reread it. This is story of a failed business and the strange personalities of the people who created it and what they would be willing to do or go to what extremes to cover up what they have done to keep their egos and dreams intact. It is a story of California at its worse representation.
