I was really eager and excited when I found out I won this book in the giveaway. I absolutely love this era of detective and serial killer stories. It was really the first time in the United States that our country had a big rise in murders, crime, and serial killers. It was also the first time in history that the government (fbi) was starting to have a better understanding of what a serial killer actually is and that they started identifying the traits and psychology behind these cruel, violent people. This story took place Los Angeles and had that super 1970s feel with the main characters and plot points. It was very intriguing and really kept me wanting more. I loved the atmosphere and the mystery elements that our detective was trying to solve. I really recommend this story for fans of thrillers, mysteries and serial killer enthusiasts!
