I've been in a true crime mood lately, so I *wanted* to like this. Perhaps I would like it if I read more of the book, but the First Impression did not send me. There was too much "corporate lingo" for my tastes. I actually find real estate markets a fascinating topic, but the language in this book just felt like corporate buzzwords plastered on a late-70s aesthetic background-- great for Instagram, not for a book. I'm sure there is a Reader for this book, but alas, I am not that Reader. I will say, I liked the cover; it reminds me of a classic 1970s mass market paperback.
