This book had so much potential to be loved more than it was. I still enjoyed it, however, there were parts that I didn’t click with.
I always have a hit or miss with Jessica Goodman, but this one was right in the middle.
I loved the premise behind this - camp settings are my favorite. Unfortunately, with it being a YA thriller I had issues. The way these characters were written made me a bit annoyed with them. I didn’t care for any of these three girls.
Also, I feel like the ending was a bit predictable?!? There were so many red herrings but maybe it was just me.
I didn’t really like how the story was developed. I was expecting something more sinister and the mystery wasn’t that interesting honestly. It was a super quick read, but sometimes the story was boring.
