This is a perfect summer read, set at an elite summer camp in the middle of nowhere. I really enjoyed this one, even more than I emjoyed the author's previous book. I really liked the camp setting. It featured almost like a character which only added to the suspense of the book. It's well written with vivid descriptions, realistic dialogue, and no unneccessary filter words.

I also liked the characters. Goldie had a strong, relatable voice, and I loved her friendship with Ava and Imogene. This book is a great example of time switching (from before and after) that is really well done. When it is well done, I love it! I think it really helped to build the suspense and allowed the reader to unravel the mystery piece by piece.

I think any fans of YA thrillers would probably enjoy this one as well as fans of Riley Sager, Holly Jackson, and Karen McManus.
