The Counselors pulls you right in from the first words. This book has been on my radar for a while and I am so glad that I got a chance to read a piece of it! The writing style is amazing and makes you feel like you are there with the character - feeling what they are feeling, experiencing what they are experiencing, that you are apart of their group of friends.
The description of the camp paints a nice picture of the setting and really makes you feel like you are at the camp, the inclusion of what everything smells like also helps to visualize where the characters are and what they are doing.
I would love to read more of this story and see what happened and to who. It is a good set up to a really amazing mystery/thriller. I could see this as a good summer read that will keep readers up all night needing to know what happens. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good thriller.
