This book has grabbed me and already sucked me in. I am loving Jessica Goodman’s style of writing. Going back and forth between the here and now really keeps you intrigued. I love that Goodman has told me just enough to keep me interested but not enough to completely give the story away at this point of the book. I am left with so many questions that I want to know the answers to. The book cover gets me excited for a summertime mystery. The format and detail read so far in this book is great for the recommended age. Reading this first impression makes me want to read the other stories written by Jessica Goodman: They’ll Never Catch Us and They Wish They Were Us. I can’t wait to read the remainder of this book.
