This was on my most anticipated releases of 2022 list, and the first impression did not disappoint. As thrillers tend to be fall reads for me, this seams like the perfect book to hold me over until then. The premise is new and exciting, and the narration style is excellent, the descriptions of the lake and the camp in general make me feel like I’m actually there in the summer sun. I love that the entire friend group is holding back secrets, and I can’t wait to discover what they are. I am so excited for this book! I NEED IT!!!
