The cover of this book was definitely eyecatching

I love when the first line of a book is completely the opposite of what you will end up seeing as the story goes on. For Goldie to even try again is strange to me. Once I have a bad experience I'm done. I loved the descriptions of locations and people, there wasn't too much, but just enough of it to let you know what's going on.
Also, a haunted house orientation? That sounds really cool. I can't wait to see where this story goes.
