In the opening chapters of this tense thriller, we bounce back and forth between Goldie hoping for normalcy among her fellow campers and summer friends and flashbacks to the events of the school year that made Goldie a pariah among her high school classmates. Tensions between town and camp continue to grow, with Goldie stuck in the middle of tragedies that may not even be her fault. A catchy opening, and I can't wait to keep reading!
