Reading the preview immediately drew me in to the narrow world of Tara Connelly as she is being released from prison following a drug charge. Although she plans to get a ride out with her sister, no one shows up to take her home, and she ends up riding back with the police officer who originally arrested her. The tangled relationships involved make for an intriguing read!
