I had heard mixed reviews about Tracey Lange’s previous novel, “We Are the Brennans,” so I wasn’t sure what to expect with this one. However, after reading the first look, I was pleasantly surprised to discover “The Connellys of County Down” is exactly my sort of read! And the cover art is fantastic — it’s surprisingly simple but the colors are eye-catching!
Already the characters seem strikingly human, quite flawed and yet entirely relatable. And I’m already loving the relationship between Tara and Brian — I sincerely hope we get more interactions between these two! I’m also curious to find out more of their backstory and just what role Brian had in Tara’s conviction. I’m already so deeply invested in these characters; I can’t wait to read on and find out what happens next!
